This project was a labour of love. Having already created a set of Welsh resources for primary schools, we were tasked with developing a series of ‘Immerse and Improve’ games and resources to provide opportunities to practice vocabulary and language patterns in an informal, relaxed way. Working closely with the department, a series of themed illustrations covering animals, clothes, household, food and verbs were created (some 200 individual illustrations in total), that were then applied to different learning games. All these were collated in branded boxes to be distributed to schools around Wales and compliment children’s Welsh lessons.
